The Real Story

Officer Brian Sicknick was first reported as beaten to death with a fire extinguisher. The medical finding was stroke; the first murder frame was wrong. Other officer deaths in the aftermath included suicides folded into a “Trump killed five cops” count. January 6 was a riot on the Capitol. It was not the only violent mob of that era, and the body-count slogan was sloppy.
